It’s about quality. It’s about perfection. It’s about satisfaction.
It’s no mystery why so many companies sell “cheap overseas” brewing products.
Around the world, countless advertisers, websites and manufacturering companies are responding to the strong demand about getting it cheap and fast idea that exist in our society.
Almost from birth, we are inundated with messages that say, “the cheaper made, the better.” That’s especially the case for homebrewing. We are subtly and pervasively educated to avoid quality, hide defects, hold back or even don't provide customer service, just to get the sale and move on.
It’s a little absurd when you think about it.
We all want long, passionate, interesting lives… but we’re taught to settle (or even put our health at risk buying untested, unsafe equipment) while we’re actually living in the greatest country in the world. It’s ridiculous.
Our Brewing America founders, Angela and Kyle Hove, recognized this need and offered real solutions with target focused, safe, quality products. We are here to make a change for better quality and customer service at Brewing America!
Angela is a disabled US Veteran with 5 years of service in the US Marine Corps. She served as a Combat Engineer and performed many duties to include build, repair, and maintain buildings, roads, and power supplies within the Marine Corps.
Angela's job also involved using explosives for both construction and demolition projects.
She loves brewing kombucha, cider, wine, and alcohol infused drinks. She is an avid gardener who loves using her harvested fruit in her brews and for canning. She enjoys finding new uses for spent grain including sharing with her flock of chickens and developing new recipes.
At Brewing America, she is a strong supporter of female brewers, sponsorship of brew clubs and education towards safe brewing and canning.
Kyle is also a disabled US Veteran with 10 years of service in the US Army. He served as a Military Police K-9 dog handler with training and experience with explosive detection.
He served several years overseas and traveled around the world while serving his country. Since returning, he served twenty years with a state agency and retired in March of 2020.
Kyle's focus is on quality and producing products that will solve a problem. He loves to brew beer, wine, cider, mead and really loves his cold brew coffee and alcohol infusion system.
We believe in living in harmony with the environment and all the creatures that depend on the environment—including the other 7 billion people who live on this planet. For us, that means supporting sustainability in several different ways but also, we strive hard to produce in America.
“Had some questions about the use of the hydrometer. Seller replied very quickly to my email and offered assistance over the phone. Unheard of these days. I will for sure buy from Brewing America again. This kind of customer service makes all the difference.”

“I love this funnel! It’s big and I can pour from a mixing bowl without it going over the side because of the funnel’s shape. It’s great because it collapses for storage and I love that for my small kitchen.”
